About Me

Hello everyone! My name is Bailey but I also go by Bay and Bail. I love laughing, exploring, and making the most of everything.

I’m sixteen years old and I’m originally from Oregon. I moved when I was about two years old to California and have lived here ever since.

My family of four is made up of my mom, dad, older sister Erin and myself. My parents are extremely supportive of everything I do, and they do their best. My older sister Erin and I are completely opposite while at the same time being completely the same. We go from being best friends to worst enemies in the blink of an eye, but we love each other through thick and thin, and I’d be lost without her guidance and friendship.

In my spare time one can find me working my job at HealthQuest Fitness Center. Having a job has taught me a lot about responsibility and growing up. I am grateful for the opportunity that I have been given and the invaluable lessons that I’ve learned about the working world, about being financially aware, about commitments, and so many more.

I also spend a lot of my time at my dance studio, Napa Valley Dance Center. I have been dancing there since I could walk. It has grown to be a second home to me. The teachers are my additional parents, teaching me not only about dance but about life as well, and the classmates I’ve had over the years have become lifelong friends and sisters. I’ve trained in ballet, pointe, jazz, contemporary, tap, and jazz funk. Dance is where I find myself and lose myself at the same time, and it’s something that I hope to continue to do for the rest of my life! 

I have yet to decide what I would like to pursue as a career. I plan on attending college after high school. Beyond that, I am unsure, but I’m excited about it.

I find that the best way to really get to know someone is by finding out all of the small, seemingly insignificant details about them. So, please enjoy my version of that:

I love giraffes. I’ve been a vegetarian for almost four years. Comical is my favorite word. Sushi is amazing. I laugh at anything and everything. Mustaches are awesome. Purple is a beautiful color. I like making other people happy. I make up my own words sometimes. When I don’t know how to reply to something my auto-response is “o.” I enjoy watching bad movies. I want to travel to all seven continents before I die. I change my mind a lot. I appreciate the invention of the portable heater. I often make up metaphors that make no sense to others. I love meeting new people. I call people “chica” a lot. I overthink everything. I also ramble.
