I Want a Husband

I want a husband who will make me laugh. I want a husband with a smile that makes me weak at the knees. I want a husband who is sensitive. When I cry I want a husband who will wipe away my tears. I want a husband who will be the reason for my smile. I want a husband that I can be myself around. I want a husband who will defend my honor. I want a husband that will remain faithful to me no matter what. I want a husband who loves me for me.
I want a husband who will go above and beyond to make me happy. I want a husband who will make grand romantic gestures. I want a husband who will make me feel like a million bucks. I also want a husband who will make a million bucks.
Everyone should be jealous of him, but I want a husband that won’t dull my sparkle. I want a husband who is intellectually superior to everyone else in the room. I want a husband who is ridiculously attractive that will highlight all of my good qualities.
I want a husband who actually knows how to communicate. I want a husband who will tell me how he feels. I want a husband who will write me the occasional poem or love song. I want a husband who will actually open up and tell me what is on his mind.
I want a husband who is strong. I want a husband that could easily beat everyone in a sports competition. I want a husband who can do the heavy lifting. I want a husband who will do the yard work, assuming we don’t have a gardener of course.
I want a husband who will do what I want. When attending social functions I want one to carry on my arm like an accessory. I want a husband who carries my bags while I spend his money on expensive things I don’t need or want.  I want a husband that I can control when need be. I want a husband that will do whatever it takes to make me happy.
If I find another man who is superior to my current husband, I want a husband who will step down to make room for him. I want a husband who will let me live the life that I deserve, even if at his expense. Why would anyone not want a husband?

  1. Lovely Bailey. My favorite part was "I want a husband who will make me feel like a million bucks. I also want a husband who will make a million bucks." That made me laugh. Good job!

  2. I definitely agree with Sarah that "I also want a husband who will make a million bucks" is the best line because of the play on words and also because it's true.
