3. As of right now I am against animal experimentation. It takes advantage of animals that are unable to speak up for themselves. They are abused and subjected to harsh conditions for the benefit of humans, who see themselves as being superior to other animals. Animals are put through all of this, and the reality is that experimenting on them is unnecessary.
4. My arguments have to do with animal rights and questioning of ethics mostly, so I don't see myself having much trouble making it easy for a general audience to understand.
5. My "whoa" moment was that testing on animals in labs can be considered "specieism." I never really considered this before. Humans really do see themselves as being above other living creatures. Animals are misused and treated terribly for the sole purpose of a medical advancement that will benefit humans. I was surprised by this term because it has such a negative connotation, but it really just reveals the atrocity that is animal experimentation.
